Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with configuration management and engineering life-cycle best practices.
  • Implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and documenting system configurations (Win 2016/2019 & RHEL 7/8).
  • Hardening systems to meet security standards.
  • Maintaining COTS & GOTS software.
  • Sustaining production systems (i.e., firewalls, file servers, security monitoring systems, etc.) that serve many end users.
  • Interfacing with customers in writing and via telephone to provide technical guidance designed to resolve reported problems quickly.
  • Attending meetings as required.
Requirements
  • 2 years of general systems administration experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities.
  • 2 years of experience performing Windows or Linux system administration duties.
  • Experience supporting a cloud environment (AWS preferred) to include delivering, securing/managing, and diagnosing/troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Experience in a DevSecOps environment (e.g., working with configuration management tools, applying automation & infrastructure as code concepts).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline, or 4 years of equivalent professional or military experience can be used in lieu of degree requirements.
Bonus Points
  • PowerShell and/or Bash Scripting experience.
  • Jira Service Management & JQL.
  • Microsoft Identity & Access Management Configuration experience.
  • Familiarity with Group Policy Object Management.
  • Working knowledge of Certificate/CA/PKI Infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
Security Clearance

Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph.
