Key Responsibilities:

+ Accurately triage, interpret, and enter orders into the computerized medication order system while adhering to pharmacy accuracy and productivity standards. Conduct audits of input against documentation and implement corrections as necessary.

+ Perform drug calculations, including basic mathematical conversions (e.g., milligrams).

+ Address issues related to denials identified during adjudication and follow up on claims in the Point of Sale (POS) system.

+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.

+ Generate reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and those pending follow-up.

+ Deliver exceptional customer service to both external and internal clients in alignment with company values.

+ Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.

+ Undertake additional tasks as assigned, which may include supporting various areas of the pharmacy as directed by management.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Experience in a pharmacy-related role.

+ Basic understanding of pharmaceuticals, medication terminology, and the metric system; proficiency in computer operations.

+ Licenses/Certifications as mandated by state regulations and business requirements.

+ Detail-oriented, goal-driven, team-oriented, with strong customer service and communication skills.
