Work Model
- Full-time position based in Houston, TX at Johnson Space Center
- Onsite work model with limited remote flexibility
- Working days starting at 8am CDT
Key Responsibilities
- Support various teams within the Commercial LEO Chief Engineer's domain
- Facilitate discussions among stakeholders across diverse areas
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and offering recommendations
- Evaluate technical designs and present insights
- Participate in partner milestone and design reviews
Essential Qualifications - [Senior Project Engineer]
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or related STEM fields
- A minimum of 12 years' experience in government programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and follow direction from clients
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in engineering, science, or related STEM disciplines
- Experience in human space exploration
- Knowledge of human exploration risks
