Responsibilities- Coordinate and communicate with external tax counsel, accounting firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective tax planning, risk management, and compliance.
- Oversee tax compliance for Goldman Sachs Renewable Power, LLC and its subsidiaries, utilizing a combination of internal resources and external service providers.
- Prepare the consolidated quarterly tax provision in accordance with US GAAP.
- Identify and execute tax planning opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on new tax legislation and developments, communicating key information to internal teams.
- Assist with audits.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA with at least 8 years of corporate tax experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm or equivalent.
- Strong understanding and experience in tax accounting for publicly traded entities.
- Experience managing large tax compliance processes and assignments.
- Experience in M&A transactions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels.
- Able to communicate complex tax matters and issues in a clear and concise manner.
