Physical Therapist

At Ellis Medicine, we are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:- Provide evaluation and treatment to patients according to approved practices, policies, and procedures of the Physical Therapy Department of Ellis Hospital and New York State law.
- Assess and treat patients of all ages, including toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Teach patients and caregivers appropriate treatment procedures and supportive activities.
- Provide information about payment sources and help interpret the extent and limitations of service available.
- Enter patient care/progress notes in the patient chart according to policies and procedures of the Rehabilitation Services department.
- A minimum of four (4) years of education beyond high school, attaining a Bachelor of Science degree, Master of Science, Doctor of or Certificate of Physical Therapy from a college with a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensure to practice physical therapy in the State of New York.

- Shift Differential from $2.50-$5.50 depending on shift.
