POSITION SUMMARY:
The Room Care Specialist is tasked with ensuring that hotel accommodations are maintained in a pristine and organized condition.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Room Care Specialist is accountable for the following duties:
1. Transport linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials using wheeled carts.
2. Sanitize equipment and supplies utilizing disinfectants or steam cleaning methods.
3. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other service areas to meet health standards.
4. Dispose of waste by emptying trash bins, cleaning ashtrays, and transporting refuse to designated disposal areas.5. Adhere to safety protocols to safeguard hotel and guest property, reporting any damage, theft, or lost items to supervisors.
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma is required.
Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
