Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Annandale. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists residents in all aspects of their daily life, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide food and beverage services, including meal preparation and serving
  • Perform housekeeping and laundry duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Manage resident behavior, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere
  • Engage residents in socialization and activities, fostering a sense of community
  • Provide information and support to residents and families, addressing their needs and concerns
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly; previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification required according to state regulations; must successfully complete the required Springhouse's/Arden Courts' training
