Job Overview

Position: Shipping Order Selector

Are you a meticulous professional with a focus on accuracy and productivity? We are seeking a proficient Shipping Order Selector to oversee and enhance our inventory management processes. In this role, you will be responsible for tasks ranging from order selection and packaging to operating heavy machinery and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate job orders (both written and verbal) and establish schedules based on item availability.
  • Accountable for retrieving items from warehouse stock and collaborating with team members to resolve any shortages or damaged goods to fulfill customer requests efficiently.
  • Input data into the company's operational system as necessary.
  • Organize all components for Quality Control Inspection before packaging.
  • Count and document items moved or handled; affix material/product identification tags/labels.
Position Requirements:
  • Capability to lift up to 100 pounds (with assistance as needed).
  • Regular standing, walking, and bending are required.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
  • Ability to read and comprehend schedules, job specifications, shop drawings, and blueprints.
  • Proficient in operating industrial machinery such as forklifts, power hoists, and cranes.
  • Skilled in using tools like saws, nail guns, and shrink wrapping machines.

Compensation: Starting at $20.00

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm · Overtime opportunities available
