Job Overview

About Play is seeking an experienced Early Interventionist to provide family-centered services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities in Florence, Darlington, and surrounding counties in South Carolina.

Salary and Benefits

A base salary of $40,000 per year, plus travel mileage reimbursement at 0.45 per mile up to a monthly cap of $565, resulting in a total annual compensation of up to $46,780.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children birth to six years old and a degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in any field with five years of documented experience working with infants and toddlers or children with disabilities is also acceptable.

Duties include providing family training, education, and support to families, developing strategies to promote child development, and monitoring progress. The successful candidate must reside in the specified counties and be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
