Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Skills: Prepare a variety of dishes through cooking methods such as grilling, baking, roasting, and steaming.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables, assemble and mix salad ingredients and dessert items, and handle various food preparation tasks like chopping, grinding, paring, slicing, dicing, and pureeing.
  • Ingredient Management: Weigh, measure, and assemble ingredients for regular and modified diets, and combine ingredients to produce consistent, quality food items.
  • Food Safety and Storage: Adhere to safety procedures for operating equipment, and monitor and maintain nourishments at specified levels throughout the hospital.
  • Documentation and Software: Learn and use Computrition software for generating necessary paperwork (e.g., patient tray tickets, production sheets, nourishment lists).
  • Dishwashing and Cleaning: Operate dish machine, and clean all other machines. Collect and empty trash and recycling. Monitor for signs of pests and report to the supervisor. Maintain strict security and patient privacy.
Requirements
  • Culinary skills with experience in various cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and software for documentation.
  • Ability to follow recipes and menus accurately.
  • ServSafe Food Handlers Certification (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred).
