Movement Instructor

This role at the Crossroads YMCA Inc supports our mission to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. As a Dance Coach, you will work with children, teens, and adults to promote enjoyment of dance and movement by providing high-quality instruction and guidance.

• Lead energizing, fun, safe, and educational dance classes that align with the YMCA's goals and objectives.
• Provide supervision at all times during classes.
• Create lesson plans tailored to the class's needs, allowing participants to progress their skills according to their age and ability.

1. Teach and choreograph engaging dance classes that foster a positive, inclusive environment.
2. Assist in planning and developing choreography for recitals.
3. Develop strong relationships with participants and parents, promoting a sense of community within the class.

• Minimum 15 years old.
• 12 months of experience in dance training; prior teaching experience preferred.
• Certifications: CPR/AED & First Aid, New Leader Orientation, within 30 days of hire.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
