Role Summary:
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures to evaluate cardiac anatomy and blood flow dynamics following established protocols.
Prepare and calibrate all imaging apparatus and skillfully maneuver transducers to execute examinations.
Adhere to safety regulations and implement necessary quality assurance measures.
Identify critical structures, artifacts, pathologies, and limitations of equipment.
Ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory bodies.

Guarantee timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS, ensuring image integrity, accurate lead markers, and comprehensive patient data/history.

Assist in upholding a clean, safe, and organized environment within the department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, changing rooms, and film storage.

Licensure / Certification Requirements:
Cardiographic Technician credential from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required prior to employment or transfer.

Cardiac Sonographer certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) must be obtained within one year of employment or transfer.

Medical Sonographer certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required prior to employment or transfer.

Sonography Technician specializing in Cardiac credential from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required prior to employment or transfer.
