Job Title: Academic Advisor

Henry Ford College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Advisor to join our team. As an Academic Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic advising to students, including course selection, degree planning, and career exploration.
  • Teach students to navigate the college's administrative systems and policies.
  • Develop and implement academic plans to support student success.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Represent the Academic Advising department on college committees and task forces.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Experience working in student advising, academic counseling, or other student support services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
