Spanish Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Spanish Professor to join our faculty at Tacoma Community College. As a Spanish Professor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Spanish language and culture, as well as developing and implementing curriculum to meet the needs of our diverse student population.

• Teach Spanish language and culture courses to students at the college level
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our diverse student population
• Assess student learning and use data to improve teaching and learning
• Maintain current knowledge in the field of teaching world languages and effective pedagogy
• Perform related duties as assigned

• Fluency in Spanish
• Master's degree in Spanish language/culture, teaching, linguistics, or closely related field from an accredited college or university
• Experience teaching at a community college and/or the freshman & sophomore levels
