Job Opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists

Soliant is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with elementary and middle school students in Novato, CA. As a schools-based SLP, you will evaluate new referrals, develop Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, and conduct meetings and reports as part of the referral or dismissal process for speech students.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate new referrals on their communication abilities and determine student eligibility for speech services
  • Develop IEP goals and make recommendations for speech services
  • Re-evaluate students on a periodic basis and update IEP goals if needed
  • Conduct meetings and complete reports as part of the referral or dismissal process for speech students
  • Document services, service logs, treatment notes, and track student progress with a mix of observations or testing data
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • SLP license from the California Board of Speech-Language Pathology or Clinical Rehabilitative Services credential from the CTC (Commission on Teacher Credentialing)
