Speech Language Pathologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Amberwood Manor. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate residents to determine their need for speech, language, or swallowing therapy
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide results of evaluations and treatment objectives to caregivers, family members, and residents
  • Complete all documentation as required by the fiscal intermediary
  • Implement treatment plans based on evaluative results
  • Monitor residents' response to treatment and alter treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
  • Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred
