The Sales and Service Supervisor (Assistant Community Manager) plays a crucial role in supporting the Community Manager by implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, ensuring consistent and positive customer interactions, and mentoring leasing consultants to meet community objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating an outstanding living environment and a top-tier workplace.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborate in setting community sales targets and inspire leasing consultants to reach those objectives.

• Facilitate the leasing of apartment homes; manage and convert prospective leads while providing comprehensive information to residents and potential residents.

• Address and resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of service that fosters customer loyalty and satisfaction.

• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring initiatives to maximize revenue, manage expenses, and enhance the resident experience within the community.

• Support residents throughout the move-in process, lease renewals, move-outs, and transfers.

• Conduct market surveys by contacting or visiting competing communities to stay informed about market trends.

• Organize and execute resident activities and events to promote community engagement.

• Adhere to all applicable AvalonBay policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those related to fair housing.
You possess:

• 1-3 years of experience in multifamily housing or related fields such as hospitality, retail, or food service.

• At least 1 year of supervisory or training experience is required.

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Proficiency in administrative software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
