We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Emergency Department team at UofL Health-University Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and diagnose and treat critically ill patients
- Provide education and guidance to patients and families, and work with faculty to ensure high-quality patient care
- Manage patients with complex and acute symptoms, and make recommendations for further care as needed
- Work effectively under pressure and make quick, important clinical decisions
- Previous experience in emergency medicine
- Kentucky license as a PA or NP
- ACLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
