We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accounting Specialist to join our team at Thomas Edwards Group. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for managing tax return processes at both federal and state levels. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in tax accounting, particularly in areas such as GAAP principles, accounting transactions, and financial reports.

With approximately 2 years of relevant experience, you will be well-equipped to oversee multiple tax engagements, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality. If you have a working knowledge of CCH Axcess software, this is an added advantage. What You'll DoYou will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, preparing business, non-business, and individual tax returns, and assisting with tax return reviews. Additionally, you will oversee multiple tax engagements to maximize profitability and efficiency. Other key responsibilities include assisting with tax return preparation, processing, and other accounting/consulting projects, completing work promptly, and monitoring the status of tax return reviews to ensure deadlines are met. Familiarization with relevant ethical requirements is also essential in this role.
