Position Overview
As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the second shift, you will oversee a team of non-exempt personnel in our advanced distribution center. Your role will involve planning, organizing, directing, and supervising daily operations to meet performance objectives. You will manage order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping processes while ensuring high productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Providing employees with the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks effectively.
- Monitoring production levels and adjusting resources to meet daily goals.
- Balancing workloads by assessing progress throughout the shift to ensure timely completion.
- Evaluating employee performance to ensure quality and quantity standards are achieved.
- Conducting team meetings and ensuring accurate completion of daily reports.
- Offering continuous training to help employees meet or exceed productivity benchmarks.
- Utilizing various reports and procedures to anticipate workload and address challenges as they arise.
- Communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
- Analyzing data to make informed business decisions.
- Fostering high-performance teams through engagement and inspiration.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for at least 2 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 or more years of supervisory experience.
- 2 or more years of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
Education
- High School diploma or GED is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The typical pay range for this position is between $43,000 and $76,500 annually. This range represents the base salary for all roles within this job grade. Actual salary offers will depend on various factors, including experience and education. This position is eligible for additional compensation through bonuses or incentive programs.
