We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current health status, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical examinations, laboratory tests, and diagnostic imaging.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and other interventions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, including information about their medical condition, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection and analysis, to improve patient outcomes and healthcare services.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
