Radiology Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of assigned staff, determining and coordinating daily staffing assignments, and training and evaluating staff on performance expectations.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of assigned staff to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
- Determine and coordinate daily staffing assignments and staffing levels to meet the needs of the department.
- Train and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations, providing input for hiring and termination procedures.
- Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure desired patient outcomes.
- Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- May perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing levels require.
- Create work schedules to ensure all areas of diagnostic imaging are covered 24/7.
- Perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application.
- Ensure adequate supply levels are maintained, performing audits of all supply closets to review stock vs. workload.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiac Sonographer, Medical Sonographer, Cardiographic Tech, Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist, or Sonography Tech.
- State licensure issued by WI Radiography Examining Board required for certain specialties.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
