Goodwill is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that donated goods are properly sorted, priced, and prepared for sale in our stores.
Key Responsibilities- Donation Intake: Greet donors, assist with donation drop-offs, and ensure that all donations are properly processed and recorded.
- Quality Control: Identify high-quality items suitable for sale in our stores and Goodwill E-Commerce platform.
- Sorting and Pricer: Sort donations into designated areas and categories, and price items for sale in our stores.
- Warehouse Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, and ensure that all donations are properly stored and secured.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to donors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to accurately sort and price donations.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
