We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will concentrate on enhancing operational performance to achieve excellence in production. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Supply Chain, Operations, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Quality on various projects. The ability to engage with multiple functions and influence stakeholders is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily product and process operations in compounding
- Facilitate the scale-up of new products and improve existing offerings
- Support the preventive maintenance strategy for compounding assets
- Collaborate with the Master Scheduler and operations team to optimize scheduling, communicate performance issues, and implement corrective actions to enhance production efficiency
- Lead trials and modifications to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Oversee all aspects of the Standard Operating Conditions Program
- Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting daily operational challenges
- Lead process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement
- Investigate customer complaints, collaborating with teams to develop and execute corrective action plans
- Work across functional boundaries, collaborating with laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing teams as necessary
- Serve as an expert in data analysis and statistical methodologies
- Maintain accountability for key performance indicators, including safety, losses, productivity, and quality
- Execute capital and expense projects aimed at enhancing safety, quality, and productivity
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in Operations Engineering or a related field, with experience in a continuous 24/7 environment preferred
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing principles
- Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools
- Experience with web handling is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with operations, maintenance, and commercial teams
Additional Information:
- Flexible work schedule as needed to cover off-shift and weekend production

- Utilize quantitative analysis and models for informed decision-making and problem-solving
