Phlebotomy Specialist

Estimated Salary:$75,000 - $90,000 per year

Laredo Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for performing standardized clinical laboratory tests and procedures appropriate to blood banking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs duties daily in the local area and on a rotating basis in various sections to include phlebotomy, donor interviews, registration, vitals, and donor recovery
• Independently performs standardized clinical laboratory tests and procedures appropriate to blood banking

Requirements:

• High school or GED equivalent and completion of a Phlebotomy program accredited by Joint Commission or CAP
• Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician, Donor Phlebotomy Technician by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, American Medical Technologists or other agency approved by the Assistant Secretary Defense (Health Affairs), ASD(HA)
• Basic Life Support Certification
