About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Support Professional to join our team at Orthopaedics & Rheumatology of.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians and physician assistants directly and indirectly with patient care. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for doctor visits, administering injections and aspirations, managing messages received from physicians and PAs, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

  • Promote the Standards of Excellence while demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior toward patients, visitors, peers, and physicians
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA compliance
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
  • Communicate and coordinate work efforts with other employees and organizations

Education and Training Requirements:

  • Experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent; Certified Medical Assistant preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and guidelines
  • Working knowledge of computers and computer software programs
  • Experience working with EMR systems a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of insurance benefit plans helpful
  • Good organizational and technical skills
  • Excellent people skills

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of approximately $55,000 per year, along with benefits including health insurance, life insurance, 401K, and profit sharing. A four-day workweek (Monday-Thursday) from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, closed on Fridays through Sundays. We require all staff to be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19.
