Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Specialist to join our team in the Portland area. As a Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and testing mechanical systems in a local airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and test mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, building control systems, lighting, power, and distribution.
  • Communicate with team members and subcontractors regarding design reviews and necessary adjustments for electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and site safety procedures.
  • Work remotely while reporting to the site daily to oversee testing of systems.

Requirements

  • 3-10 years of commissioning experience specific to HVAC, plumbing, lighting, power, and control systems.
  • Prior experience testing and documenting work on electro-mechanical systems.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
  • Commissioning certifications: CxA, CCP, BCxP, NEBB, NETA, or QCxP.
  • Prior use of Facility Grid and client coordination experience.
  • Aviation or university industry experience.
