Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate a highly available service in the cloud, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Partner with other engineering and product leaders to plan, prioritize, and staff projects.
  • Define the product and engineering roadmap for the team, aligning with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in database systems, search, or AI/ML systems.
  • Experience building highly available cloud services and managing high-performance teams.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to attract and hire top engineering talent.
  • Knowledge of database internals and ability to define and meet SLOs for highly available systems.
  • BS in Computer Science (Masters or PhD preferred).
