Job Title: LPN IV Cert Float

BJC Medical Group is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in an ambulatory care setting. As an LPN IV Cert Float, you will provide direct patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider within the scope of practice for the LPN.
  • Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point of care testing and medication administration.
  • Assists with medical office procedures and initiating/discontinuing IV fluids as directed.
  • Follows HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Medication Management and Infection Prevention procedures for cleaning and sterilization of equipment and/or instruments.
  • Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient's record.
  • Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients and present relevant information to provider with correct medical terminology.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • LPN - IV Cert
Preferred Requirements:
  • Associate or Trade School Equi
