Job Summary:

This role performs prescribed Sonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The ideal candidate will competently perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Positions patients and performs imaging procedure(s) with precision and care.
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results, taking appropriate action to resolve image quality issues.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of associate's degree.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Sonography-RT(S) or Vascular Sonography- RT(VS) certification and registration via the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Breast (BS) via the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) earned prior to 2011 or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification via Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required within 12 months of hire.
• CPR – American Heart Association certification.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, and Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior sonography experience.
