Key Qualifications:
Meticulous Attention to Detail: Exhibit precision in every facet of food preparation, from selecting ingredients to the final presentation. Ensure that each dish aligns with the high standards set by the culinary team.
Commitment to Culinary Excellence: Show a strong dedication to delivering outstanding dining experiences. Pursue continuous improvement and innovation in culinary techniques and presentation.
Contribution to Menu Innovation: Engage in the creation of new dishes and menu offerings. Provide insights on flavor profiles, presentation styles, and sourcing of ingredients to elevate the dining experience.
Passion for Training and Development: Aid in the training of new kitchen personnel and mentor junior chefs. Share expertise to enhance their skills and ensure consistency in food preparation.
Responsibilities of the Artisan Pasta Specialist:
- Prepare fresh pasta dough on a daily basis.
- Shape and portion pasta dough for service.
- Utilize commercial mixers and pasta machines effectively.
- Contribute to delivering an exceptional culinary experience.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, focusing on product quality.
- Execute all menu items according to established recipes.
- Work efficiently to ensure timely preparation of menu items.
- Adhere to recipe procedures to maintain high quality and consistency.
- Assist in keeping the kitchen area clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Ensure proper rotation of all ingredients.
- Follow all food safety and kitchen safety protocols.
- Continuously enhance personal culinary skills.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a passion for food, beverages, and hospitality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a team-oriented approach.
- Reliability and dependability.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef team.
Required Experience:
- Familiarity with both traditional and contemporary culinary trends.
- 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale kitchen environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with a robust work ethic.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing 40-50 lbs.
