Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis Nurse Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing individualized care plans, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and ensuring seamless patient transitions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with our team of nephrologists, dialysis technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including laboratory results, medication lists, and treatment plans.
- Perform laboratory collections, processing, and shipping procedures, as well as reschedule missed or inadequate laboratory collections.
- Assist with clerical tasks, such as filing, inventory management, and admission documentation.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards patients and colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in dialysis care.
- BS/AA/diploma in nursing with at least 12 months of RN experience (3 months in hemodialysis) preferred.
- Valid RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
