Role Overview:

The Retail Sales Representative will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise while ensuring a clean and organized store presentation.

You will engage directly with customers, welcoming them and assisting them in finding everything they need for their projects in one visit.

Be prepared to be on your feet for the majority of your shift (6 to 9 hours) and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.


Customer Engagement:
Provide a positive representation of Horn's Ace Hardware.
Proactively assist customers in resolving issues.
Greet customers as they enter and thank them upon leaving.
Maintain a friendly and outgoing demeanor while collaborating with both customers and team members.
Ensure all calls are answered promptly and courteously.
Direct any unresolved customer complaints to management.
Possess strong product knowledge and familiarity with store layout and product locations.
Offer personalized service to customers, aiming to impress every customer, every time.

Store Operations:
Contribute to a positive, professional, and safe work environment.
Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise throughout the store.
Help maintain back stock levels and ensure the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area are clean and orderly.
Support merchandise resets throughout the store.
Assist Department Specialists with tasks such as price changes and special orders.
Ensure all signage is current and accurate.
Operate a forklift with proper training.
Communicate merchandising, cost control, or sales ideas to the Store Manager.
Participate in store meetings and maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Deliver products to customer locations as required.

Essential Requirements:
Valid Driver's License
Availability to work every other weekend
