Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Russian Interpreter to collaborate with our team at Teneo Linguistics Company. This role requires the ability to facilitate communication between non-Russian speaking staff and Russian-speaking children, ensuring mutual understanding and fostering a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality Russian interpretation services in various settings, including medical, community, and legal contexts.
  • Assist with the translation of written materials as needed.
  • Promote awareness among staff about best practices for working with an interpreter.
  • Be sensitive to cultural differences and provide culturally appropriate services.
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Russian interpreter, with exposure to medical, community, and legal interpreting scenarios.
  • Proficiency in English and Russian.
  • Certification in Interpreting from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
