As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will collaborate closely with floor supervisors, quality assurance personnel, and shop management to guarantee that all welding tasks are executed according to the specific requirements of each project.


Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding on components in various positions including flat, vertical, and overhead.

Utilize a range of equipment (such as saws, shears, and rollers) while adhering to safe working practices.

Inspect work pieces for any defects and measure them to ensure they meet customer specifications.

Weld using various materials including aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, and other alloys, either separately or in combination.

Engage in clamping, holding, tack welding, heat straightening, plasma cutting, and grinding to achieve the necessary configurations and positions for welding.

Qualifications:
4-7 years of experience in a welding and fabrication setting is required.

Proficient in reading blueprints with a solid understanding of welding symbols.

Basic mathematical skills and the ability to accurately read a tape measure (both standard and metric).
