Job Description

Siemen Healthineers is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a travel position in Brick, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages to assist in diagnosis.
  • Locate and record internal body elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
  • Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
  • Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
  • Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
  • Review tests with peers and physicians.
  • Inform physicians of preliminary findings.
  • Distribute completed test results.
  • Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain patient charts and update file systems.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment.
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and adjust or refer for repair.
  • Instruct patients in pretest preparation and answer questions.
  • Comply with Siemens, hospital, and departmental policies.
  • Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedure.
  • Maintain technical competency through education and training.
  • Administer contrast agents under guidance and approval of site Radiologist.
  • Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshooting.
  • Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years MRI clinical experience.
  • Siemens equipment experience required.
  • Valid ARRT license, registered in MRI.
