The Gillman Automotive Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Valet to join our team. As a Service Valet, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a seamless and enjoyable experience at our dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and escort customers to their vehicles, providing a friendly and professional welcome.
  • Parking and Retrieval: Park and retrieve customer vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Vehicle Care: Ensure customer vehicles are parked in designated areas and retrieve them promptly.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Find and install license plates.
    • Replace vehicle bulbs.
    • Notify the Assistant Service Manager or Estimator if a customer is waiting.
    • Keep the service drive free of vehicles.
    • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on customer vehicle care and operation.
    • Help customers transfer luggage or packages between cars.
    • Assist technicians in moving inoperable vehicles.
    • Alert the Manager to any damage to customers' vehicles.
    • Assist with housekeeping on the service drive, keeping it clean and clear of debris.
    • Attend department meetings.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (including Driver's License)
  • Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
