i9 Sports, established in Tampa, Florida, is the premier youth sports league franchise in the United States, boasting over 1 million registrations across more than 500 communities nationwide. We provide a variety of youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for children aged 3-17 in popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball. Job Summary
The Youth Sports Program Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the i9 Sports experience for players and coaches alike. This position requires building strong relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the delivery of quality instructional experiences. Active participation in practices and games across various age groups and skill levels is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage actively in practices and games for all age groups and skill levels.
- Enhance the overall i9 Sports experience for players, coaches, and parents.
- Empower volunteer coaches to conduct practice sessions focused on skill development and enjoyment.
- Foster relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring effective instructional delivery.
- Teach and exemplify core values, including sportsmanship.
- Oversee the operation of designated sports events on game days.
- Exhibit a consistently positive demeanor and exceptional customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience and knowledge in sport-specific coaching and/or officiating.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently to resolve issues.
- Ability to manage situations effectively to ensure player safety.
- Positive attitude with a talent for building professional relationships.
- Availability to work weekends and occasional weekday meetings throughout the season.
- Must successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check.
Each franchise location operates independently and is responsible for local hiring decisions, compensation, benefits, and employment terms.
