Job Description

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is a leading healthcare provider in Hawai'i, renowned for its exceptional care in women's, infants', and children's health. As a medical teaching and research facility, we deliver 6,000 babies annually and offer a range of specialty services, including intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, and critical care air transport.

Our Team

The Occupational Therapy team at Kapi'olani is comprised of dedicated professionals who participate in various health and rehabilitation programs designed to empower patients to reach their full potential in mobility, communication, and daily living skills. Our integrated program involves highly trained specialists with experience in work-related therapy and care programs.

Your Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Kapi'olani, you will provide direct occupational therapy services and consultation across the continuum of care for inpatients and outpatients at medical center locations and contract sites. You will work closely with patients suffering from occupational injuries, providing valuable rehabilitative services and relief. We seek an experienced and sensitive professional with excellent communication and patient care skills, committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to Hawai'i's people.

Requirements
  • Current Hawai'i Occupational Therapy license
  • Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Occupational Therapy certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year general occupational therapy experience
  • Previous experience with Pediatric or Adult populations
