Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Novus Clinic. As a Registered Nurse - Pre-Op / PACU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with established Federal, State, and accreditation standards and company policies and procedures.
- Participate in direct patient care and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in preoperative and post-anesthesia care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current RN License required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar setting, such as Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), PACU, ICU, Medical Surgical, or Telemetry floors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Amkai Office and Amkai Charts Database software.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring and emergency equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Works in a well-lit and ventilated environment, including pre-operative/PACU areas, nurse's stations, procedure rooms, and lounge.
- May occasionally be exposed to outside environments.
