We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Open Door Preschools. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters the growth and development of young children.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in children.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy learning environment that meets the needs of all children.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in early childhood education or a related field is highly desirable.
- CPR certification and child development associate certification are preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain confidentiality when necessary.
- A competitive hourly rate of $15.20 or more, depending on education and experience.
- Paid sick/vacation days and paid holidays for permanent staff working a minimum of 20 hours/week.
- Employer-offered insurance (medical, dental, vision) for permanent staff working a minimum of 30 hours/week.
- Life and Disability Insurance (fully paid by employer) for permanent staff working a minimum of 30 hours/week.
