About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the Physician Assistant Program at South University. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative management for the program, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional student experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist program leadership in managing and coordinating departmental operations, including event planning and budgeting.
  • Support the Admissions Committee in planning and executing applicant interviews, new student orientation, and graduation ceremonies.
  • Coordinate with the departmental data coordinator to ensure timely and accurate processing and reporting of data related to accreditation.
  • Assist program leadership with coordination and implementation of departmental projects, including accreditation processes and site visits.
  • Maintain confidential program files and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including filing, copying, typing, and preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Answer telephones and direct inquiries as appropriate.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate destination.
  • Maintain program calendars and schedule meetings as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-4 years of progressive experience providing administrative support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and faculty.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation skills, with the ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
