Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Infection Control Expert to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing oversight of infection control and prevention programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing and delivering staff education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee infection control and prevention programs to prevent the spread of infections among residents and staff.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assessment & Assurance Committee to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver staff education programs to promote infection control practices and protocols.
- Monitor and report surveillance trends and develop action plans to improve infection control outcomes.
Requirements:
- Valid state nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Degree in nursing, epidemiology, biology, or microbiology
- Infection Control and Prevention Certification required prior to assuming the role
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, sick time, 401(k) with a savings plan, long-term disability, company-paid short-term disability, and life insurance options.
