Job SummaryThe Cyber Security Center Director of Operations supports the Air Force Headquarters Air Force (HAF) and Air Force District Washington (AFDW) 844th Communications Group (844CG) in the day-to-day operation of the IT enterprise supporting 18,000 users and mission-critical systems in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The IT enterprise spans both unclassified and classified enclaves across three primary bases - the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA) and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) - and numerous remote sites.
- Delivers top-notch customer service and responds to the dynamic needs of the user base to meet the diverse missions of the Air Force in the NCR.
- Serves as the Operations Team lead supporting 24/7 monitoring of AFNCR system health.
- Works directly for the CySC Manager and Government Service Owners to ensure the ten personnel cover all shifts and adhere to standard operating procedures.
