Senior AVL Integration Specialist

Ambient Productions is a leading provider of quality audiovisual solutions in Dayton, Ohio.

We specialize in designing and delivering integrated AVL systems for various clients across the region.

This role involves working closely with the Project Manager to coordinate project requirements, installation teams, and ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project installation requirements;
• Determine scheduling and installation team requirements;
• Coordinate and assist installation efforts;
• Evaluate and implement AVL system designs;
• Communicate project status regularly;
• Design future projects as needed;
• Prepare upcoming project components;
• Assist in live event productions;
• Participate in industry training;
• Adhere to Ambient Productions' core values and company culture.

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic, attitude, and communication skills;
• Knowledge of standard safety protocols;
• Hands-on experience with AVL systems;
• In-depth understanding of professional AVL systems, terminology, and components;
• Understanding of AVL signal flow and routing;
• Familiarity with projection, video, and display platforms;
• Knowledge of audio techniques and ability to operate a sound console;
• Attention to detail and proper installation techniques;
• Experience leading AVL installation teams (min. 1 year);
• Working knowledge of Vectorworks drawings;
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement design documents and site plans;
• Basic networking configuration related to AVL integration;
• Cable management and termination methods;
• Meet all Ambient Installation Technician Tier 1-4 requirements.

This position requires lifting objects up to 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, and climbing stairs and ladders. In-state travel may be required up to 75% of the time, with occasional out-of-state travel.

The estimated salary for this role in Dayton, Ohio is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and regional factors.
