About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support our multi-disciplinary healthcare team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment at HCA Florida West Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the healthcare team in clinical support functions, ensuring a safe and efficient patient care environment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, addressing patient needs and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Surgical Technician program or LPN program.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) certification.
  • LPN Licensure in Florida (for LPN candidates).
  • Previous scrubbing experience (preferred).
  • Surgical Technologist Certification (preferred).
