Job Summary

We are seeking motivated former law enforcement officers to join our team as Arrestee Transport Officers in the Central Pinellas County area. This role requires prior sworn/certified experience with a minimum of two years of road patrol experience. Civilian and military candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to dispatched locations to take custody of individuals detained by local law enforcement agencies.
  • Transport detainees to the county jail and other designated locations.
  • Maintain awareness of calls for service through radio and electronic dispatch.
  • Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to leaving the pick-up location.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must pass any state-required training or qualifications for licensing.
  • Minimum two years of driving experience required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in law enforcement, military policing, or security roles related to detaining civil or administrative detainees.
  • Must be at least 21 years old or meet the minimum age requirement set by the state.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a high school level is required.
