We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team, and contributing to the development of our surgical care services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and provide education on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in surgical care.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities to ensure seamless patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with our healthcare team, communicate effectively with patients and families, and provide education on health promotion and disease prevention.
