  • Deliver Direct Services: Provide speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student, ensuring their academic and social success.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success, share knowledge, and leverage resources.
  • Assess and Track Progress: Conduct comprehensive assessments and track student progress, using data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records, providing regular progress reports to stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in a school setting, with a strong understanding of educational environments and best practices.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
