We are seeking a highly skilled Family Practice Physician to join our team at Matrix Providers. As a Family Practice Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to our military families.
Job Summary:The Family Practice Physician will perform a full range of physician services, including examining, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges. You will also provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
Responsibilities:- Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
- Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
- Order diagnostic tests as applicable and request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
- Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures, and providing in-service training to clinic staff members.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
- Successful completion of an internship and residency program corresponding to Family Medicine.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
- Board certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
Matrix Providers offers a competitive compensation package, including $165 to $180 per hour and a $30,000 retention bonus. We also provide malpractice coverage and a supportive work environment.
